Setting Up Your domain

There are two ways to use a custom domain with Vehiso.

1. Registering a domain directly through Vehiso (Recommended)
2. Using a domain registered through a 3rd party

Registering a domain directly through Vehiso​

To register a domain directly through Vehiso and link it to your website, follow the steps below.

  1. Visit the My Account -> Domains area.
  2. Click Register Domain.
  3. Enter the details of the domain you would like to register and click Search.
  4. If the domain is available, you will be able to click Purchase.
  5. That's it! You will receive an email in a few minutes once the domain registration process is complete.

*Please Note: Some domain registrars require that we confirm your contact details so please keep an eye on your email in case you receive a request to confirm your contact details.

Using a domain registered through a 3rd party​

To use a domain you have registered through a 3rd party you will first need to import it and then verify it for use with Vehiso.

  1. Visit the My Account -> Domains area.
  2. Click Import Domain.
  3. Enter the domain information in the text box, e.g mycarcompany.com.
  4. Click Import Domain.
  5. Next, you will see your domain on the Domains list with a status of Verification required.
  6. Click Verify Domain and then add the DNS records shown on the screen into the DNS section of your provider to verify your domain.
  7. If done correctly, you will receive an email (usually in a few minutes) confirming that your domain has been verified for use with Vehiso.
